An Introduction

Tuesday, 5 May 2010

Welcome to Eloquent B’s Just a Thought site. This is a preliminary introduction only: a fuller one will appear tomorrow. Material for this blog will likely be jottings, mostly, short responses concerning news or events of the moment from such fields as fine and performing arts, food, culture, education, politics, law, religion, and, of course, sports. This forum will also provide information about Eloquent B’s film productions and will link with the production company’s site and those of the crew.

So, for now, I thank you for checking in, welcome your comments – provided they are respectful, relevant, and well-considered – and look forward to engaging in enjoyable and, perhaps, illuminating and truly helpful discourse.

Good reading and good day,

Brian D. Sadie

    Brian,

Glad to see you’re among the living.
I write film reviews (much too precious to call them “movies”).

    Let me hear from you.

      Hi Julian,

Few home viewers watch film anymore, so why not back to the original? I admit, though, the word ‘film’ in criticism suggests an urbanity missing from the movies. It’d be nice if it just didn’t so often indicate foolishness and arrogance, too…

      How are you these days?

You are an eloquent bastard, indeed. I’m advertising your blog amongst the youth. Write something comical for them.
